Book Nook Bookstore of Arts District Hyattsville offers the following services: Special Orders Can't find a book that you want on our shelves? We can special order it for you and we will usually have it within 3-5 business days.
Book Group Discounts Book groups who order at least 8 copies of a title will be offered a 10% group discount.There will be an additional discount for book groups ordering over 10 copies of a title.
Gift Certificates Gift certificates are available.
Custom Book Baskets We also offer custom book baskets. Book Nook Bookstore can create a book basket for any occassion: New baby, Weddings,Thank you, Get well soon, Sympathy, Birthday. Inspire a love of reading by buying a book basket for a child. We carefully hand select books and items to put in your basket.

We offer a variety of programs for all ages. CHILDREN Wednesdays 10:30a.m- Baby/Laptime program. Thursdays 10:30a.m- Toddler Story program 2 years and older. Story/Stretcher-Craft and Story all ages
Second Saturday of the month 11.00am
TWEEN/TEENS (10-14 YEARS OLD) Book discussion group. Meet and discuss a book. Snack will be served. Third Sunday of the month 3:00 p.m- 4:00 p.m
ADULT Book group-please call store for details, there are a couple of groups.
AUTHOR SIGNINGS Please check the website's calendar for author events.

The Book Nook is a great resource here in Hyattsville. My book club ordered books there and received a bulk discount. Just this week, the store hosted an author reading from a novel on Hollywood and DW Griffith. Interesting stuff!
