Prince George's Community Pool is a private, member owned cooperative pool located in Mt. Rainier, MD. (Directions here) PG Pool boasts six 50-Meter Swimming lanes and a diving well. Spread over a huge lush green lawns with trees and picnic tables, PG Pool is the place to spend your summer. Got infants? No problem because we also have a huge baby pool with a new shade canopy. Work from home? Then you will be happy to know that we have FREE WIFI!
No initiation fees! You pay a yearly rate based on your your family status. Each member is required to put in 5 hours of work. The pool is run by members, for members!
Every other weekend PG Pool hosts live music from local musicians. Rock 'n Roll, Blues, Jazz, Salsa and more! Don't forget about tent night where we lock the gates and let you set up tent for a great overnight adventure. Don't want to stay overnight, then come to one of our many late night swims in our fully lit pool.

Dear Hopies,
I would like to invite you to come to Countdown to Splashdown this Saturday, May 16th from 4 – 8 pm at the Prince Georges Community Pool in Mt. Rainier (www.pgpool.org). If you've ever considered joining the pool, or you just like having fun with your friends and neighbors, this is a great opportunity to visit the pool before the official opening of the season on Memorial Day Weekend. The pool will not be open for swimming, but entertainment will be provided and the entire grounds will be open (i.e. kids can run amok while adults converse). This is a potluck event, so please bring a dish large enough to share (appetizer, main course or desert). Beverages will be provided. Please see the details below. What? Countdown to Splashdown When?
