I make diaper cakes using disposable diapers as baby shower gifts and centerpieces. Many people have a great interest in what I do just from seeing examples on a flyer I have distributed. I have been searching for a place in Hyattsville to display and sell the items, such as craft fairs. Does anyone know how I can find out where craft fairs are being held. Even if you have an interest in a unique baby gift or centerpiece or would be willing to display one in your store etc. you can reply to this thread. I do not have a business, this is just my hobbie, making things. Do you find this valuable?

Contact Joanne Mood at the City of Hyattsville - 301-985-5000. She can tell you when the next craft fair is going to be. Also, why not take some pictures and make a page for yourself under "Hyattsville Business" here on the Wiki. You can put in contact information, photos, cost, what's in them and so on. Let me know if you need help.

Thank you so much for the information. I will give Joanne Mood a call. I also appreciate you letting me know that I could make a page for myself. I will give it a try and if I stumble I will get right back up and ask you for help. I have been struggling trying to get the word out about various crafts I enjoy doing. While I'm not trying to make a fortune, I just want to afford to purchase more supplies. Again, thanks so very much. Do you find this valuable?

Ok, I added a page eventhough I wasn't exactly sure what I was doing. I hope its OK. This was a test for me, so I think I will add pictures later. Do you find this valuable?

Wow, thank you so much, it looks better and the colors pull you in. I have lots more pictures, I tried uploading but they didn't appear. Do I add a page, put them on the same page, I got a little lost. I tried to format it a little too, but when I saved it, it reverted back to the same format. I guess for a first timer I didn't do too bad. You are the greatest help. Do you find this valuable?

You can simply cut and paste the pictures in there if you want. Also, make sure you are signed in when making the changes. There is a "widget" you can put in where you can have photos that change. When you go to "edit" and you get the edit box that opens, click on "Widget". From there, scroll to Photobuck and at it in. You then go to the photobucket site, add photos and follow the diretions from there. If too cumbersome, just email the photos and I'll do it for you.

I can't thank you enough for helping me with this. I added the pictures so others can see what I do. Now, being recently retired I hope to generate enough interest to keep me busy. If you, a family member or friend have a need for a diaper cake, please let me know. I will be more than delighted to delivery you a gorgeous 3 tier cake at my expense.
